Cross Roads Church
Living and Loving Like Jesus
Peacefully Compassionately Together
At Cross Roads we believe Jesus calls us to a lifestyle of peace. Peace with God, peace with others, peace in ourselves. We certainly aren’t perfect and we don’t have it all together. We are a group of people who gather on Sunday mornings and throughout the week to practice following the teachings of Jesus together.
Jesus…who accepted the rejected, forgave the guilty, empowered the weak, served the poor, and healed the broken. What would our lives, our families, and communities look like if we all followed Jesus’ example of peace, love, and reconciliation?
We believe it would look like a little glimpse of heaven right here on earth!
Our mission is to
"Live and Love Like Jesus: Peacefully.
Compassionately. Together."
As we practice following the teachings of Jesus we hope people will experience the good news of God's love for all.
Cross Roads is a contemporary and casual church in rural Puslinch (between Cambridge and Guelph). We seek to love each other like family. We know each other’s names, comfort each other in loss and celebrate life’s joyful milestones together. We value people at all life stages, from babies to seniors, and we encourage everyone to find their place in serving together.
We are encouraged in following Jesus' example by Pastor Melissa as she helps us gain a better understanding of scripture along with new insights.
Sunday mornings we come together to praise God through song.
Singing also benefits us. Songs get deep into our hearts, where they heal us, strengthen us and guide us.
Our children in grades JK - Grade 5 have their own Sunday morning Kids' program.
Our infants and toddlers from birth through age 2 (up to age 3) have nursery care available during the entire service. Nursing and diaper changing facilities are available.
Once a month we enjoy Sunday lunch together eating delicious food, meeting new people and catching up with people we know.
During the summer everyone is invited to bring their lunch and lawn chairs on Sunday to enjoy lunch together under the pines.
On a week day or evening some of us get together in someone’s home to learn, discuss, pray, and support each other.
For example, those interested in a particular topic spend 6 to 8 weeks learning about and discussing it. Topics have included LGBTQ+ and the Church, Mental Health and the Church, and Responding to the Climate Crisis.
Our young people in grades 6 through 12 get together on a regular basis for fun, friendship and learning more about Jesus!
We invite you to become a part of our community or to just come to check us out!
We look forward to meeting you and your friends and family!
